Im not patient and i don't write reviews. The quality of the holster was better or on par with big names, but the turn around time was waaaaaayyy better. This simple fact puts these guys at #1 for me. Nobody like waiting months for a product. These guys do high quality work and fast!
The holsters have been great. Did a recent transition from g17 to g45 and am happy I was able to still use my g17 holster being that there is retention on the light. Running a tlr-1hl. Purchased the g45 valknut got it in and it’s a perfect fit. Has good retention where needed. They have been tough, and undergone some torture with me, have taken it on the chin, and held up real well. The black carbon fiber is what I go with. They are functional and very esthetically pleasing. Just make sure you go through and use loctite on all your screws before you put it into action. The tek-lock style mount they offer has a button on the bottom that slides to lock. It is not very efficient unless you are just Kd range shooting. Just buy a tel-lock and opt out of their variant. It served its purpose but I found myself placing a screw in the crevice it slides in to prevent it from sliding to the unlock position, and popping causing the holster to flop.
Perfect
Holster fits the comp great! The tension on the light is a bit tight, to the point I may need to add a slightly larger spacer and tension screw to smooth out the draw. No complaints about the quality though.
I needed a VP9 holster that would also fit a surefire x300 and RDS and this fit the bill. The Valknut looks good and is super light. Love the closed end holster/suppressor height sights options. I chose the paddle holster to have optionality to toss it on my everyday belt and then on a Safariland QUBL and screwing on a QLS fork. The paddle screw holes look like they were egged out from other holes and have a figure eight shape. The holster is staying in place for now on with the QLS/QUBL setup but we’ll see how it ages. Overall, love the customizable options but Id be hesitant to recommend the paddle option and a few extra screws for the price would be nice.
